Didnít mess with before pics but it was UGLY.
Texas Scout Herbert Schmidt 22lr that was left to me by my grandfather.
The trigger was horrible, action was rough, finish was terrible, and the barrel was loose.
Completely dissembled.....and I mean every single part was taken off. Stripped it chemically, gave it a great cleaning, blasted it, polished all interacting action areas, stripped again, painted, cured the paint, and reassembled.
Smooth, easy trigger, barrel is tight, functions as well as ever.....now to search for grips.
The finish is very smooth and consistent...the discoloring is oil weeping around the screws.
