Sightmark broke the news yesterday on a new digital NV scope they have coming out. This is something they've been quietly working on for awhile. It's called the Wraith HD 4-32x50 and it will retail for $499. It's full color during the daylight, black and white at night, has video recording and variable digital zoom. It is obviously their answer to the X-Sight. The word is the Photon RT's are not going away and this will just be another scope in their line up. I'm going to be very interested to see how it performs in the area of image quality and the IR brightness. I'll be finding out a lot more next week at SHOT Show. Stay tuned, it looks very intriguing.

I believe that’s MSRP. I’ve been been told for weeks that retail will be $499 and Sightmark stated the price was $499 in all their social media posts.

How do their Rifle scopes compare to others? That one guy on TV loves them but he's a paid sponsor.

Looks very promising.

No idea yet on ship dates. Usually it's somewhere between 2-6 months after SHOT. That's a pretty wide range but that's just me saying what normal is. I'll report back after my meeting.

The Wraith HD is 1080p. They are also coming out with a Wraith 4K 3X that is double the resolution. I just got the Sightmark catalog in the mail but no videos on this one yet. The 4K will get my money if if it is better than the HD model/

What is the weight? I bet it is not half a pallet of bricks like the X-sight was. Good for them.

Have a old photon on a back up rifle I think I need to upgrade my scope.
