So correct me if i am wrong, but youth can still shoot a legal buck this weekend correct?

Depends on your county. In south Texas, big buck season ends this weekend. In central and north texas, some counties have already ended the buck season. You could have a late youth antlerless/spike season going on. Just go on-line and check your county in Texas.

◦For the remainder of the state, the bag, tag and permit requirements are the same as for the first two days of the general season in the county (see County Listings).


Youth only has the same regs as the 2 day youth weekend. That means the youth can kill any legal buck, spike or antlered.
