Im taking delivery of a 4.5 month old Pudelpointer in a couple weeks. I would like to see if any of you have used a trainer specializing in versatile dogs. If so, how was your experience, and would you use them again?

Im looking for someone to complete the obedience, force fetch, and start to develop the dogs natural instinct in various hunting areas.

Clayton taylor or muddy paws should be able to help you out. He trains dogs for lots of different purposes. He's located in paige I believe

Tony Miller at Endeavor Kennels...hes on here.

Hes done a lot with my GSP...all of the things you mentioned above, but we went further and shes a finished dog. I would absolutely go back to him, and still do. He is definitely worth talking to.

Nope, he also does flusher, and pointers.

Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.
Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

More into versatile training the last two years. He just built new kennels at his house a few miles east of Anderson.
