After 2 trips to Mazatlan and a few years later I got the last two birds finished. I brought back 5 shovelers to pick from and after the second trip I had two cinnamons to pick from. I am just beyond excited how they came out. The cinnamon I was concerned because he felt the lead shot may have done some feather damage but he was able to make it flying. I got my bluewing and black bellied whistling duck completed two years ago so this finishes out the 4 memories I brought back. Thanks for looking!

Beautiful birds! Had never compared the two side by side but it’s easy to see how hen/immature shovelers could be mistaken for blue wings during teal season!
