This buck is set to eclipse the current North American record non-typical after it undergoes panel judging. Archery kill from November 2, 2018. https://fishgame.com/2019/01/38-point-buck-could-be-world-record/

As a bow hunter I can't imagine getting settled enough for that shot. Can you imagine the rush after seeing the arrow hit?

Looks bigger than the on I had my hands on one day. The Fulton buck from Mississippi I got to hold the Neil Morin's Alberta Non-typical that netted 279 6/8 in April of 1992. IIRC it is still #1 in Canada Nontypical. It had very impressive browtines in the 14" or more range. To see and hold one of those huge nontypicals is something.

That's a true monster! I don't think I could get a score like that if I glued all the bucks antlers I've killed onto one set of antlers. LOL!

I would have passed on that Tucker buck in 2016. (just kidding) Though not a very pretty rack, but this latest one wasn't carrying trash on it's head. Very impressive to say the least!

I don't keep up with the records much, but is the Milo Hanson buck still the No. 1 Typical? It's probably not, since it was killed in 1993. Reason I ask is I have a picture of that buck on my coffee mug I'm drinking out of as I type.

There have been a couple that would have eclipsed it if not for breaks, I believe, but that's the way it goes! Edit-here are a few that fell short in one-way or another: https://www.fieldandstream.com/11-world-record-whitetailsthat-werent-quite-there
