Nice car, the celica supra was the first car I remember wanting. Of course i was 9 at the time, and yes Inspector Gadget had something to do with that. My second car was a 87 celica, i loved that little car. Your 83 celica could probably fetch a decent price nowadays.

I used to work with a guy that raced a 1974 Celica in the Sport Car Club of America races. I have no clue of the mods he had done, but the car was street legal, inside he had 2 racing bucket seats and roll bar, otherwise it looked stock. It was also his daily commuter car.

People starting to go insane. Guess they figured out after seeing this monstrosity they're never getting another true Supra.

$121K for a '94 Supra

Quote
After being sold for $121,000 to a Toyota dealership in Chicago, they have re-listed this Supra for $500,000 on their own site. We reached out to the dealer to see why they did this, and here's what they had to say.

I didn’t say they never had a few pretty cool cars..... I’d said they’ve NEVER had a good looking car or SUV. The old b2000/2200 we good hunting rigs and looked fine.

Here’s a good read about Supras. If anybody owned one, you should’ve held onto it.

They never made a 4 speed (unless you mean auto). The made a 5 that was pretty short-geared, though.

Yep, especially if it's all original. There's not too many of those around.

Read abiout that, a 7k mile survivor. Apparently a Toyota dealership bought it to go in their collectible museum and to use to promote the new Supra.....

Yep, you're probably in the wrong thread. Especially if the only knowledge you have about Supras is from a movie.
