I couldn't afford the Supra but I did have a really nice 83 Celica GTS. Talk about a "Bullet Proof" car. I drove that thing HARD like a wannabe Supra and had ZERO problems through 150k miles. What it had over the Supra was it was "Well Balanced." Lighter on its feet, shorter wheel base and 5 speed. Wide Yokama tires and extended fender skirts gave it more of a sports car look. Drifting before drifting was a thing in Hollywood. All that said the Supra was the King in Toyota's fleet. My 1983 Toyta Celica GTS in the clouds running the Blue Ridge Parkway. Nice car, the celica supra was the first car I remember wanting. Of course i was 9 at the time, and yes Inspector Gadget had something to do with that. My second car was a 87 celica, i loved that little car. Your 83 celica could probably fetch a decent price nowadays.

My 1983 Toyta Celica GTS in the clouds running the Blue Ridge Parkway. I used to work with a guy that raced a 1974 Celica in the Sport Car Club of America races. I have no clue of the mods he had done, but the car was street legal, inside he had 2 racing bucket seats and roll bar, otherwise it looked stock. It was also his daily commuter car.

People starting to go insane. Guess they figured out after seeing this monstrosity they're never getting another true Supra. $121K for a '94 SupraAfter being sold for $121,000 to a Toyota dealership in Chicago, they have re-listed this Supra for $500,000 on their own site. We reached out to the dealer to see why they did this, and here's what they had to say.

I’d said they’ve NEVER had a good looking car or SUV. The old b2000/2200 we good hunting rigs and looked fine.

Apparently a Toyota dealership bought it to go in their collectible museum and to use to promote the new Supra.....
