NFA, you mean. But yes, you are correct. The people doing these are on furlough as well as the staff processing new or renewal FFL licenses, which is what I am waiting on.

I heard that due o the shutdown all NFA items will be on hold, and all NFA items filed during the shutdown will be Ben top priority. This could result in an additional 8-10 month wait on top of the already 6-8 month wait.

why would forms filled before the shutdown take back seat to those filed during?

The ATF does run a decent first in first out operation (at least they did before the FBI background check muddled everything up) Some people are getting caught in FBI purgatory

I had my ATF inspection last week and we talked about this. The NFA items are not getting processed. They are just piling up she said. My renewal on my FFL is also just sitting there waiting to get processed. So, nothing is happening there now.

Yep Judd is right. I have one in jail waiting on my free 22 suppressor from SiCo so I can do it all again lol. Looks like it’ll just take a bit longer now.

I have. The older I get years fly by anyway. My brother bought at the same time I did. I would not be surprised if he checks the scilencer shop app once a week.

Individual Form 4s were running about 5-6 months.

Trust Form 4s were about a month longer depending on number of Trustees. I had one come back just before Christmas...10 months (4 Trustees).

My first was 5 months, my last was 15. Just forget about it and then when you get the notice it's like unexpected Christmas!
