The barbed wire thread got me thinking. What are some first aid supplies you keep with you in the field for the pup?

I just started hunting with a lab again last month after a 10 year drought.

What I am doing now and then. I carry a full first aid kit in the Jeep, I have the number for the closest vet facility. On my person I have bandages, medical tape, EMT Gel, and forceps. [Linked Image]

Now I carry a field kit for emergency. It consists of emergency blanket, q-tips latex gloves, small flashlight, lighter, matches, wound seal, alcohol swabs, duck tap, povidone-iodine swabs, honey packets, lock blade knife, bandaids, hand sanitizer, tweezers, finger nail clippers, electrical tape, triple antibiotic, super glue, eye wash, rubber bands and 2 9x5 surgical dressings.

A cone is always a good thing to carry to keep the dog from messing with a wound.
