Killed 2 woodie drakes today and that is all. Glad to hear your getting after them beaver!
I think ill take a couple days off next week from work. Ducks are finally starting to show up. Still a lot of water though. They are hiding in sloughs, creeks and field bottoms.

I've got friends with deer leases all over west Tecas texting me pictures of ducks in areas they've never seen before.
One buddy sent me game cam pictures of mallards under his deer feeder.
Another friend of mine was talking to a game warden and according to him there are three times the about if birds in the panhandle this year than normal.
He stated that typically they have about 1 million geese and this year they are estimating there are over 3 million geese in the area.
I'm going to make a separate post showing a video of a few thousand geese..

I've more or less studied duck counts over the regions of TX over the last 10-20 years and that is the pattern.
Gaddies finally showing up in North TX last week... only a couple months late. Guys way up north are still covered in green, hopefully that arctic blast will push some down.
