2 of the biggest 8 points we have taken on our South Texas Hunting Outfitters hunts. Both deer were considered management deer, our program allows for big 8s and 9s, and in some cases 10points to be management deer. We did very well this year on these hunts, average deer were 135"+ on management hunts.

141" 8. The picture does not do this deer justice, I have some video I will post after the season. Our client was ecstatic to say the least. The deer could score up to 140" on this particular south texas ranch, he got a 1" bonus!

138" 8. Nic booked a hunt with one goal in mind- to spend some quality time with his daughters. We did some shuffling and got him set up on one of our South Texas ranches, I knew there was a good 8 hanging out in the area but these old native bucks can be tough to hunt. I was on another hunt so my friend and landowner too him. They got in done! His daughter also took a cull. Great times and these hunts make me proud to be apart of such great memories. Nic said he found me on the THF, not sure what his handle is but if you see this Nic, thanks again for hunting with us!

Both of these are free range bucks... no HF.... the first one scored 160 3/8” and the second one was 167”. Both killed on the same ranch in Vernon TX, back to back years.
