Has anyone tried Grigger's on I-20 in Gordon? Just opened up this year and thinking about trying them.
I've used Hamilton's in Weatherford the last few years, but this place is about 10 minutes down the highway from my lease.

We stopped by Grigger's just to check out the new place and they are great people! They gave us a sample of their summer sausage and it was really good. Once we get a deer we plan on trying them out.

Pan sausage is too salty but other options are good.

I do it all myself after a bad experience in Colorado years ago. Paid too much for 2 deer to be processed. Once you have a grinder, stuffer and a seal-a-meal and know how to work a knife your good to go.

I'm trying Rust processing outside of Eastland this year. New management. Took my buck there two Saturdays ago. Nice, helpful guys took care to ask the right questions. They had a pan full of their deer jerky to try out that was great and that sold me. Of course, the real test is when I get it back.

Deer Processor? Never used one. I do my own from skinning to butchering to vacuum sealing.

Just picked up mine from Wild Country in Lindsay, TX, based on the recommendation from Joe A.. Very impressed with the price, cleanliness and packaging.

Therefore, you do NOT have a favorite so, no use in posting your accolades.

Good for you, should they bring their deer over for you to process?

I've used Dry Creek in Poolville and Cutting Edge in Decatur recently. Both good.

Dan's Smokehouse in Peaster. I've been using them for a while now and I've been very pleased. They're also the nicest people you'll ever meet.
