Off to a slow start this year, but things picked up last night. I got access to one of my properties again after the landowner closed it off for some deer hunting. Tags got filled and so I regained access and apparently nobody had shot any hogs there in the last several weeks. The last property is one that I have enjoyed hunting for the last couple of years. It isn't particularly large, but is well maintained. The only down side to it is some serious cross fencing for the cattle operation. I had to hold off shooting for fear of hitting one of the wires and they take their fencing seriously with 8 strand fences in places. So I had to bide my time, but still managed two from there.

Great moving shots.
I envy your open spaces to hunt these rats. Both places I have are heavily wooded.

Great moving shots.
I envy your open spaces to hunt these rats. Both places I have are heavily wooded. Well, as you can see, my open spaces have their limits. I often hunt smaller properties and have to deal a lot with livestock, farm equipment, structures, etc. Often when I have open space, I am limited in just how much shooting I can do and still be assured that my shots are only damaging to hogs.

Nice video and great shooting. I'm going to give the 90 grain TNT a shot - seems to be quite effective.

Jon, well I have some bad news for you. It seems that Federal American Eagle Speer TNT 90 gr. is now unicorn ammo. Apparently, there won't be another production run of it until April.  If you reload, the bullets are available. That is initially what got me to the factory version was that a buddy of my was shooting 90 gr. TNT reloads and they were working really well for him.

yeah we have a lot of cross fences also like you are dealing with.
I’m in the NTX area also, seems like it’s getting worse for sure. Sure is fun.
