I went with direct burial electrical wiring for a similar application. I'm sure it'll last longer than me. Since it's going from overhead to a transformer on the ground, I have to follow their specs.

I went with direct burial electrical wiring for a similar application. I'm sure it'll last longer than me. Me too, also since it is not in conduit, the wire can handle more sustained amperage since the ground actually cools the wire where it retains heat in the conduit.
