I have a moltrie stand and fill feeder. The timer n battery are in the side of the barrel. Question is when I put a battery on it it seams to run down in a day or less. I can unhook that battery a few mins and hook it back up and it s back to working. Can any one shed some light on what mite be wrong or what I can do to fix it

What kinda of battery? Do you have a multimeter to measure the battery voltage?

Sound like a connection issue more than the battery itself.

What timer is it, and do you have a solar charger? If you don’t have a solar charger, go right out and get one. Get one that can’t be destroyed by a determined coon.

well I hit the reset button on the back of the control board and then did a test spin and that's when it cut off. did the same thing again and had the same result. so it happens when the feeder goes off.
