Just bought a new scope (Meopta 4.5-14x44) for my hunting rifle (T/C Pro Hunter .25-06). Already have a nice one piece base and weaver rings but think it may be time to upgrade the current rings with the upgrade in scope. Looking for recommendations for rings.

Thank you.

Take Care,
Bub

Warne, Seekins, TPS all make very nice rings.

Yep. Also, Badger Ordinance andTalley Tactical are excellent rings. Or a Spuhr mount if you wanna spend 5 bones.

Leupold windage adjustable mounts are the way to go.

Thank y’all. I was looking at seekins and the vortex precision rings(made by seekins) and didn’t know if there was anything comparable at a cheaper price point.

If you're not going to remove the scope after installation the Warne Fixed rings are great cost effective option. They are hell for stout.

If we're talking price point, take the rail off and get a DNZ/Game Reaper unitized mount. I don't think you can beat Seekins for a lightweight Picatinny ring, though.

I have the DNZ on all my Encore barrels and have been very satisfied. I don't swap scopes around, though.

Toughest out there I have found are all-steel Burris Z-Rings. Use them on Weaver bases or Picitinney rails. Allow scopes to be changed easily. They are indestructible and the cross bolts lock them firmly in place for zero movement. They even work fine on my Nitro Expresses or 416 Ruger with 4X the recoil of most deer calibers.

Try their 215 series tactical mounts next time, even better than the original

David, I'll take the note and see about giving these a go on my next rifle.

Last 3 sets of rings I have used were

Talley- good happy with them
Burris z rings- good happy with them
Vortex tactical- poor fit finish but worked. Ended up swapping them for the z-rings to correct a crocked savage action.

There are so many good options out there right now. The premiere rings sold bynvortex are made by seeking and are very high quality

Nightforce make light weight rings that would go well with a hunting rig

The last two sets of rings I’ve purchased are really impressive. The first is a one piece mount from really right stuff. It has to be the nicest machined object I’ve ever scene.

The next was from American rifle company. The owner Ted is an engineering master. Things things are awesome I picked up the ARC M10 QD-L model and All I can say is damn... they are nice

Ended up getting a pair of Burris xtr signature rings. May be a bit overkill but gonna give them a shot.

Thanks all.
