I have to take a few minutes just to comment on how my Ameristep "The Dog House" Deer Blind has held up for a second season. It went through at least a half-dozen floods, two of which put moving water half way up the sides and still shows no noticeable damage. Now I must be fair and admit that I had it tied down with 10-inch tent stakes rather than the cheap, lightweight stakes that came with it. Still, I've been very pleased with the overall durability of the blind.

Wasn't able to take a deer with it this season but did reduce by one the local coyote population.

Yep, I have 2 which I have previously left out for entire season(s) with no problems whatsoever except for once blowing across the field after a heavy rain and high winds. But that was my fault for not securing it right. They're a great product especially for the money.

And now is a good time to catch them on sale.

Came to post this. Academy closed them out last year at 2 for 1 in Lubbock.

I have one and like it a lot. It's a little noisy in the wind but that actually attracted a buck one time.
We use ours as an outhouse when we camp out in Colorado and Wyoming.
