Well, she was shaking her head allot, so we went to the vet. Yep, mild infection. Gave me those gooey drops. Each ear for 5 days. Jessie knows what the word "ear" means, so she heads for the hills if I say "ears"

Now, I have to sneak up on here, catch here while shes sleeping. If she see's the bottle she will flatten like a flounder and crawl under the bed.

Feel bad about tricking her, but she always gets a treat after....

My lab used to get ear infections all the time as a puppy, vet advised to use a swimmers ear solution of alcohol and vinegar as prevention and she hasnt had one now in years. It worked wonders for us.

Good looking dog. Ear meds can be a major PITA. I always did the first dose in the exam room....before the dog was wise to the treatment.

There are some long acting meds out there that only require one or two doses.....but it all depends on what your vet saw in the ear. I haven't seen it obviously so I can't say if it would be right for your situation.
