...combined with zero clouds: they all came in 20 min before legal.
Had to gently scare em off and some came back. Still a fun solo hunt though.

do You paddle all the way to your spot or use a big boat and then the kayak?

Its only 200 yrds
Rocking The kayak is also good to create movement

Ah gotcha. Yeah I’m doing my first kayak hunt in the morning tomorrow. Never thought about rocking it to make movement. up I’m guessing you have some burlap or something for while you’re hunting?

No burlap
I was embedded in the weeds
Sun behind me
But i was rocking the kayak every 5 min
3 single gaddies came in within 15 yards feet down

Gun recoil was hard on me, almost tipped me over twice
Now leaning to the left prior to a shot, not easy
Love it. Solo at 77, 100 will be possible

Looks like you have a sit on top. If i'm in deeper water I put my legs over the sides before shooting. Kind of awkward but it stabilizes you really well right before the shot.
