Just curious if anybody knows why bow hunting is not allowed during the late muzzleloader season? All the states we’ve ever hunted you could use a “lesser” weapon during any special season.

Because muzzle loader season means just that. We have archery season, general season (not gun season) which allows archery and gun, and muzzle loader season. Get a smoke pole and join us.

I do have one and will be using it was just curious cause I do enjoy the challenge of bow hunting
