Thought I'd share a couple recent hunts with my THF homies...

Friday night 12/28 I was Mr. Badass, snipe'ing @ 132 yards. Bang-Flop Probably my longest single shot drop to date.

Sat AM 12/29 Mr. Badass woke up as Mr. Ammo-waster at 60 yards. frown One of the benefits of a suppressor is the very clear "thump" you hear from an impact. That first hog got two thumps and I moved on, should have stayed with him. Missed the next one, all 3 shots. 3rd one, might have connected on one, but missed the second. (You can see the hog from Fri night at the end, still thermal hot over 12 hours later).

Wed AM 1/2 First Hog of the New Year! Bang-Flop at about 70 yds. It was still dark out, just so happened to take peak while I was making my coffee. He clearly was gimping around and looked pretty thin. I took pity on him and being the kind, charitable soul that I am, launched one of my new Partitioned rounds at him I'm trying vs my cheap Winchester Power Points. (Your screen isn't crooked, my chair was set too low and I was just in some goofy position) Didn't go check him out until just before dark when I went to drag him off. He structurally was a large hog at some point, just didn't have the mass any longer. He was probably 220 or so where he lay. He did have one of the best noggin's and cutters of any hog I've ever shot. So despite the freezing rain coming down, I pulled him to a little less muddy area and made his head detachable before dragging the rest away.

Good luck to everyone in 2019!
