Well, when I bought mine 3 yrs ago they weren’t hard to find. After searching now, I see why you are having trouble. I didn’t find any either. If you do find one, it very well may be your favorite pistol. It is mine by a long shot. Good luck.

For Sig Sauer P229 40 S&W 1/2x28 RH

THE OD OF THIS BARREL IS TOO SMALL FOR STANDARD .40 S&W THREADS (9/16-24). WE CAN THREAD THESE BARRELS 1/2X28RH OR M13.5-1 LH. YOU WILL NEED APPROPRIATE THREADS ON YOUR SUPPRESSOR OR NEED TO BUY AN ADAPTER FROM YOUR SUPPRESSOR COMPANY TO MAKE THIS BARREL FIT. BE SURE YOUR SUPPRESSOR MOUNT WILL ALLOW .40 CALIBER BULLETS TO PASS SAFELY THROUGH, AS THESE THREADS ARE COMMON TO 9MM BARRELS/SUPPRESSORS. ALL THREADED BARRELS ARE PRE-PAID AND INCLUDE EXTENSION,THREADING AND A THREAD PROTECTOR. PLEASE EXPECT THAT MANUFACTURING CAN TAKE FROM 90 TO 120 DAYS TO COMPLETE YOUR ORDER WHEN A BACK ORDER BUTTON IS AVAILABLE.

I may be wrong, but 40 seems to have dwindled at least a little bit in popularity.
