How's Rosie doing? From the looks of the picture, she's figured out where they come from. grin

Nice - Still looking for my first. Can you tell me what brand of dog vest your pup is sporting?

She is living up to the hype. As you can see she has a very keen eye. It's hard to believe she is the same pup that I was worried about being visually gun shy two months ago. Prey drive through the roof and a very quick learner. When Santa bought that tree stand and one on legs, it only took a few minutes and a few dog treats to learn the *place* command. Maybe because the pointer in her, she doesn't instinctively break. On the flip side, when she isn't hunting from a stand she likes to wander - hasn't figured out dux work better when you aren't moving all around. Gotta work on that. Also, being a pup she'll sometimes decide the bird is hers and I have to coax her into bringing it to hand. Can't wait to get some real work in this spring and summer. She already has upland down like a veteran, but I worked with her a lot on that already.

Oh yeah, she doesn't like teal. She got tangled up in the jerk rig on a retrieve once and now thinks they are bad news. I'll have to save one for off season. scratch

It's a Rig 'Em Right Bloodline. They're made for pointer body types. I tried several others geared towards retrievers but they didn't work. Fit is good, just not sure how long it will last. Some meh reviews regarding that.
