 Game Saver Bags with Liquid

I’m having trouble using my game saver to vacuum seal bags with marinades. I put my setting to “moist” and hold the bag over the edge, but I always get marinade into the seal, which of course prevents the bag from sealing air tight. Any tricks to help with this? I only use as much marinade as recipes call for to sous vide.

Maybe just hand press air pockets out and do SEAL only. If there's enough liquid to run this should work.

Anytime we do fish, marinades , etc I freeze it in a small tray then use the vacuum seal....

A friend of mine puts a paper towel folded up on the inside in front the seal before he push's the button.
