Mountain Cedar pollen peaked Thurs-Sat. I’m just hiding inside trying to stay out of the doctors office.
Thought for the day: Ducks were almost hunted to extinction long before camo was invented.

5 man limit yesterday with lots of shooting heard around to not a duck seen today and no shots heard.
If the trigger is gold, the birds will fold.

Hunted yesterday on the coast. Perfect conditions for a hunt with 10-12mph north winds and a very light drizzle. Didn't even shoot the gun. Looks like it'll be a long January if the freeze line doesn't make a serious move south.

Saw a bunch of new fresh ducks today due to this cold snap We saw the opposite. Complete load of garbage this morning. Got right to our spot, no one around, wind was great, hidden great, saw 1 duck at 8:30. Haven't been skunked this season until today. In fact, I hadn't hunted this spot and not shot a limit yet.
