We are experiencing corrosion at the battery connections and wire terminals. It has happened on 3 different feeders now when you have battery, solar, timer, remote control wire etc. Eventually it doesn’t allow the feeder to throw.
What grease or other juice can I put on the connections to keep this from happening ?

I have had the same issue when using UB or Wildgame Innovations batteries. I am now using Power Sonic with no problems. The metal used in the UB or WGI batteries corrodes quickly. Power Sonic is using a better quality of metal in their batteries.

I’m not sure who the battery maker is. These are all Ranchking feeders but I’m sure it’s best bang the dealer can get

If that battery is solid black then it is probably a UB brand or made by them for someone else. Power Sonic are gray bottom with blue top. I think I am only getting one year or less out of the UB battery before corrosion sets in and 3 yrs+ out of Power Sonic now. I am down by the close to the coast and humid/damp air. My building contractor who built my house gave me some Ox-Gard anti-oxidant compound in October to use on my outside lights. I am going to start putting it on all my batteries to see if it helps get more life out of them. I know the UB batteries are still good but the metal breaks at the battery housing from corrosion. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Gardner-Bender-1-oz-Ox-Gard-Anti-Oxidant-Compound/4514334

Put a dab of petroleum jelly on each terminal. This will help with corrosion. I do the same on my car batteries.

Would corrosion x work?
I have some good advice so far and a few text. I think this problem is a snake in the dark and will probably happen to many. It took 2 years for the first feeder of ours to show

What do you do (use) to clean the connectors that are corroded ? Pour Dr Pepper or Coke on the corrosion and then use a wire brush to knock any left off..

What do you do (use) to clean the connectors that are corroded ? Wire brush. Baking soda and water. If there’s any left at all, it’s coming back.

What grease or other juice can I put on the connections to keep this from happening ? Go to any auto parts house, ABC, AutoZone , tell what you want. They have the correct grease/heavy oil for all electrical connections. It is the same stuff they put on your battery terminals when you purchase a new battery for your car. Works great, I use it on all the battery connections in my boat, eliminates corrosion problems.

The leaky batteries cause the corrosion. Cut the wire back to good wire and replace the connector. Solder it if you can. Use some silicon grease to cover all metal connections.
Cast I have a short attention spa

What is the best lubricant to put on The Timer spinner? Sorry about the senior moment. Should be, best lubricant for the Eliminator Spinner plate. Is the nylon bushing available to replace?

No issue with the UB batteries. But at $5.99 from Buccess it is cheap insurance to replace them each year or two and give to someone else... . $12 for the 12 volt.

Just got back to the hunting place. Most of the problem is on the negative terminal. I caught mine soon enough. Another feeder is going to need a wire splice rebuild.
I got a new battery and tried the grease method
