Yesterday a 50 yard mud hole that I have always been able to get though got a little deeper than I thought it had. I started through it, and it just kept getting deeper and deeper. Long story short, my air intake went underwater and the mule stopped. I was able to use the electric wench to slowly pull it out by tiring on to several trees and pulling it along. Got it to where the tires are still in about 6" of water before the battery went dead. However the mule itself is out of the water.
SO????? what is my next step. I know nothing about what I need to do, however, I will not be able to get it back across the mud hole for about 5-10 days. I have to wait for the water to go down enough to get something over there to pull it.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Drain engine oil. Remove oil filter.Take out the spark plug. Pour diesel in spark plug hole. Pour some diesel into oil dip stick hole.Replace oil drain plug. Pour diesel into oil dipstick hole until it come out hole where oil filter was. That should hold it until you take it to the shop.

Yes, I have been looking hard for a reason to get a new one. I just dropped this one off at a mechanic
yesterday afternoon. We will see if I'm going to fix it or get a new one.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Update...my submarine...I mean my mule is up and running again. $416..........darn it, I was hoping for about a $4,000 charge so that I would have a reason
to get a new one. My next question is ,"How do you kill a mule. Mine just will not die. Wife says as soon as it does I can get a new one." This one is 14 years old,
and oes everything I ask of it and more. I'm afraid I'm going to die before it does. lol.

Remember... that's why you bought a Mule in the first place. They don't die. I bought a diesel Mule for the same reason. I hope it does out live me.

I have an original A1 2510, early 90's model I bought used. Still alive and kicking. Trust me, I have tried to kill it too.

That is honestly what I was hoping for, a bill large enough to justify buying a new one. I think I have a better chance of winning the lottery than this mule dying. My anniversary is coming up,
what do you think about me buying "her" a new mule for a present.

I think you need to think long and hard about that before wrapping it in a bow!

Well, the anniversary is Monday and I've chickened out on the ideal of giving "her" a new mule for it.......I'm dumb but not stupid. trout
Besides, I don't want to get a
new mink coat or diamond necklace from her next year.
