Thinking of doing this in 2019. Went with my son to Montana after mule deer and elk this year. I've been researching the TPWD website. I would like to keep my money in Texas this year but it wouldn't be much further to slip across to New Mexico. Any Texas pronghorn hunters on here? thanks

30 years ago West Texas had tons of Prong Horn.... Don't know what happened to them all. That might have been something Texas Parks and Wild Life over looked.

Check out Pope Brothers, they kill a lot of pronghorn every year here in TX and NM. Solid outfit

Speed goats are always a fun hunt. I've hunted NM but, like you, would prefer to keep the money in-State.

Yelp, I don’t think there is a more postively reviewed outfitter on THF.

Be hard pressed to find a better outfitter,

Yes, you will have to find a Landowner or outfitter that will just sell you a tag. Most rifle goat hunts don’t take long, unless it’s a winter crop depredation hunt... those can be tricky

Ok then. Any landowners in Yoakum or Cochran county with pronghorn tags for sale?
