I started off my night in a field that had several areas of rooting, hoping/expecting to see hogs, but instead got my first to tries at coyotes with Pulsar's Trail XP38 LRF (laser range finder). The laser range finder is quick and easy to use, requiring just 2 button taps and you can get a critter ranged. No more guess work. It also worked out well for the hogs I came across later in another field...

Good stuff DNS, kudos. Just what I needed, another piece of equipment I really want and really can't afford. That scope seems to be the answer for reliable ranging.

That ranging feature looks pretty nice.
My problem is that, if it's beyond point-blank range I probably can't hit it anyway. hammer

That first coyote’s coat looked nice and healthy, nice shots on the pigs!
