Trying this one for X-Mas eve, we've done Three Forks, Pappa's Steakhouse, Four Seasons and now trying Winewood this year. We had lunch there last year and it was very good. What are your impressions of Winewood, specifically their steaks? Thanks.

Best steak I have ever had was here celebrating my wifes job promotion. The server we had knew a ton about the wine as well

Well, the verdict is in! Pinewood delivered last night on appetizers, Calamari, Shrimp Remoluade and Spinach/Artichoke dip. Salads we're good and main entrees, rack of lamb, New York strips for kids, tenderloin filets, my 14oz Ribeye with two large grilled shrimp and the wife's trout were all delicious. The sides of twice baked potatoes, potatoes O'grauten and steamed vegetables were enjoyed by all. The signature dessert of vanilla, caramel drizzled ice cream over warm brownie muffin was scrumptious. Overall, the ambience and waiter's srnse of humor and attention to detail were spot on. It is a definite spot to return to.
