I drove off-road almost every day in all types of terrain. The can am hits all the high points. I canít think of any drawbacks to it.

Width, if you try to take it out west on designated <60Ē trails

Per my research

Can Am Defender Max is 63" wide, Mule Pro FXT is 64" wide, Kubota X 1140 is 63.2" wide (all according to manufacturer's website specs.)

Those are not allowed on Designated <60Ē NF/BLM trails also

Ranger 900 is legal itís 60 inches

Next trail restriction is 50Ē thus why you see so many RZRís, maverick trails, etc out west. Most trails have gates set to restrict widths also.

Then itís not a consideration for you since you can afford multiple machines, I personally would just rent out there if I decided to do it instead of hauling one. But to each their own

Totally agree about the Can Am Defender. Came with a 4500 winch and the tailgate made to support 250 lbs. 1000 pound bed capacity and can pull 2000 lbs. Will exceed 50 MPH. Just a great all around machine. I also own a used gator for comparison.

I recently bought a small ranch in West Texas. Need something to haul corn to feeders and the occasional white tail to the barn. It would be nice to drive out to blinds in a quiet vehicle.

Weíve had record rains, and the place is one big mud puddle. Got my 4WD Jeep stuck. So my top priority is just something that wonít get stuck in the mud.

What would you guys recommend? Thanks.

I borrow both of those machines. The Colorado trips donít warrant me buying a vehicle Iíll use once a year

Is cost a drawback relative to the others?
