It’s actually been leaking for few years now, but I never saw were it was coming in. Just sitting or idling along which is mostly what I do, it does not leak, but when I go full throttle it really comes in, and is is really bad now. See video where it is leaking, any tips how to repair? I did some small repairs like 4 years ago, I used this stuff. I guess this is best to use. Maybe first squirt some kinda seal between the cracks were it is come apart?

Not joking, but what about that Flex Seal stuff. It worked on the infomercial I watched. Could get you through the season and get you to the off season. Thought I saw it at wal mart

Could try to fill with epoxy, then c clamps around the edges. After it’s dry, run strips of fiberglass around the edges and apply resin.

Flexseal is actually good stuff. You could get the roll on kind, or the spray can stuff. It can be had at Walmart. I'd try that jbweld waterweld stick, that's good stuff too, fill you cracks w it, sand it down, then flex seal over em. Or theres a product called marine tec or marine tex. Squeeze it out, apply it. Let it dry a day or 2, sand it down and your good. Any spot repair I did, I would coat in flex seal. It does work

I'd your looking to actually fiber glass it, like w the bondo product u have, go buy the cheese cloth fiber, mix the bondo resin up, lay some fiberglass strips. You may need the hardener catalyst to get that stuff to dry. Once you've laid and filled with glass, let it sit and cure for a day or 2, then sand down, and I'd coat w some kind of boat bottom paint

I would use an epoxy resin. Bondo uses polyester resin. I learned the hard way, but to best explain it google something along the lines of "epoxy vs polyester resin for boat repair" and you will find tons of stuff on why.

Thanks John, yeah looks like epoxy is better. I looked at some old pics 2014, looks I did those repairs on the front.

I tell you what tho, the repairs I did with that bondo is solid, those spots are good, I need to sand it down.

I dont need fiberglass.

If you want to repair it permanently, use West System 105 with either 205 or 206 hardener depending on the temperature and your ability to glass. I have built quite a few things out of fiberglass, I use it every day. You will need to prevent flexing in that area. I suggest you seal the crack by injecting epoxy resin in the crack and clamping for 24hrs.

Polyester resin is not compatible with certain types of gel coat or chopper gun glass resins. Epoxies can be applied over most any other type of fiberglass resin but not vice versa. Thoroughly flush the crack to remove any impurities, 100% isopropyl alcohol is the best, avoid acetone, mek would be best, but alcohol will be sufficient.
