Do you have to put hay or alfalfa out for them in the winter?
No, not the males like this. The females are in about a 20 acre trap so I do feed them alfalfa during the winter.

My favorite exotic is probably the aoudad.

Love those things

2nd are axis or Sika.

Mouflon are a 3rd

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

My favorite would be Bongo. I have not killed one yet, but it would look great on a pedestal. So far I have killed Nilgai, Scimitar Oryx and Blackbuck, out of those three my favorite is definately the Scimitar.

This is a tough one. But if I had to chose one it would be Axis. Beautiful animal and great eating.

Axis without a doubt.

I could probably live on Axis and Sandhill Crane as my only protein sources.

Just my .02,

Free range aoudad and axis for me. HF "hunts" for African game and elk is not for me , and neither is the beyond ridiculous pricing the HF TX outfitters charge.

Eland was my funnest hunt in South Africa we chased the crap out if them for 2 days, their suprisingly graceful for their size, they were also the best eating their.
