Did not see a grey duck hunting Saturday. To not even see one where I hunt on the coast is unimaginable. Everything that came in stayed. Didnít see anything else. With the water situation being what it is all we can hope for is cold weather. Sadly I see no arctic blasts in the forecast...

Lots of birds in eastern Colorado and Texas Panhandle. We just drove down and saw lots off geese still in Eastern Co and quite a few ducks in Panhandle and east along 287.
Nee Noshe and Nee Grande in Queens State Wildlife area are full of water and winter wheat is showing. Geese by the thousands east of Denver too, loafing in the fields. They're coming but have lots of loafing spots to choose from.
Lots of scaup and ringnecks , but also greenheads spotted on the tanks along 287.
