I've been hunting deer my whole life and I've owned the same place in Red River county for the last 15 years. I have shot my fair share of deer in my time. Two and a half years ago I purchased a SilencerCo Omega suppressor. The first time I took it out to hunt, I shot a nice buck. Right after hearing that deer crash, another buck came out head up and looking around. I thought that was weird. Usually all the deer run away after a shot. Maybe they'll stay and mill around. But never come in looking. It happened again to my brother later that season. I was letting him hunt with my riffle with the same can on it. He shot a doe and right after, a NICE buck stepped out looking around. The same thing has happened 5 times in the last two seasons, including last Saturday. I shot a pig at the feeder and a young buck shot out of the woods and started intently looking around. It was crazy. They all seem aggressive coming out. The rut is long sense over. I wonder what it is that makes them do this? It hasn't ever happened with my Thompson Machine 30 can, or any of my other buddy's suppressors either. It's just the Omega. It has happened with both 308 and 6.5CM. Crazy stuff. Have any of you guys ever experienced this? Thanks!! Matt
The psycho nut bags have always been there. They just get better press now. Take away their guns, they'll use knives. Take away their knives and they'll use sticks!!

Guess they like the sound of their buddy going down. When your brother shot, did you see it happen?

I've got an Omega 300 headed my way sometime, let you know next year.

Same results with my Omega. Shot a cull buck, doe came out and fed around. Shot her, the trophy buck showed up and hung around.
Niece shot a buck last year, as we were looking at it a trophy showed up looking at us. I clicked on an empty chamber as we had unloaded the rifle for pics/walking to her deer.
Last day of doe-spike last year, I shot a spike. 10 minutes later a doe showed up, shot her too.
99% this was coincidence though. However, I haven't NOT had a chance at another deer every time I've shot this setup.
