I heard for years there are large populations of coyotes in urban areas. A few years ago I read in the Dallas Morning News about the, “super coyotes”, in Dallas that are very large due to an abundance of food. I always took it with a grain of salt. Last night I hit one in Fort Worth on Beach Street between Heritage Trace Parkway and North Tarrant Parkway.

I believe it now.

Don’t roll those bloodshot eyes at me.

Yep in the Houston area I have seen them early mornings raiding trash cans if they can. Seem to come out of the green belt and drainage area. They are pretty good at it.

Most city folks have no idea what lives near their homes. They just can not figure out what happened to the dog/cat they let out for bathroom break before bed. confused2

We see them all the time south of there on Beach. Used to work just north of Meacham and Beach, and we so of see coyotes, bobcat, and turkeys.

The rabbits in our neighborhood have been...well...doing what rabbits do, and we have an abundance of coyote food. Just last week I was sitting out back, and a rabbit came hauling a$$ past me with a big coyote right behind. Wife and I were sitting enjoying the cool evening, and they ran past literally 3-4 feet from us. He was a VERY Healthy looking coyote.

I just heard about an aggressive coyote in Frisco. Apparently attached a jogger, very rare to hear that.

Apparently this is one (smart, aggressive, determined — pick one or more) coyote!

I have two unwritten rules:
1.
2.

Have a bunch here in Katy. They hang out in the green spaces, golf courses in the woods. People always want someone to get rid of them but no one wants them shot. City folk SMH.

I've seen a handful around the Arlington area. I don't see them often, but I have spotted a few over time.

I see them at the NON Mow area in town. It's not huge but I guess it's big enough for a few yotes.
