How much gold do those products come with? What makes this brand so unreasonably expensive? And I thought drake clothing was expensive.

Wear it in the field and you'll understand. The technology is incredible. You spend the money on a jacket that will last longer, is 100% waterproof, warmer, lighter, fit better, and stops the wind dead. I threw out twice the value in other jackets that were as waterproof as a paper towel, super thick and not near as warm. If you hunt just a few times a year or sit on a stock tank behind the house it's not for you. If you're out grinding it out all of the time, no matter the conditions, it's worth it.

Drake uses lessor technical textiles, specifically water proof breathables. Sitka is also held to WL Gore’s mfg’ing standards. Drake has gone through a couple changes over the years, there for a while they produced crap, half stuff wasn’t even critically seam sealed. New Drake team, ain’t playing and is making a lot better stuff. Comes down to what you think you need vs what you can afford. Sitka just uses a very high level textile in just about everything they make. Waterfowl I’d say they are the expedition grade of the industry

I don’t have any Sitka waterfowl gear, but I have a few things from elk hunting and it’s awesome stuff.

I wasn't a believer until I borrowed one of the "cheap $200" hoodies from my brother.. Since then, I've bought a piece here and there and have spent about $1700 or so and am completely happy with all of it. Still have all of my older Drake stuff, but it just takes up space in the closet now.
Have been eyeballing the new Drake Guardian Elite 3-In-1 jackets they just released though. Those things look sharp!

It is expensive but so far everything I have bought has been worth it. It actually does what it advertises, waterproof means your not getting wet from a gear malfunction. Granted I wish I had more but when I can catch something on sale I snag it up.

I own 1 pair of sitka pants i bought at macks since when u stop there, u just have to buy something. Im impressed with it, super light and 100% wind and rain proof.
My second fav are my beretta bibs i have over 6 seasons and had to patch some tape to it, but they are my fav.
For drake, i have a Large jacket and a XL jacket when it gets cold to layer up
Browning makes some good stuff as well.
Cabellas for waders since they were $140 and will run 3-4 seasons

I'm wanting to get a pair of pants, jacket and the waders. Depends on what you're doing. If you call or message them and tell them how and where you hunt they will put together a system for you. Customer service is unmatched. Sent you a pm.
