Hey guys, First post on here so hello, after a passing in the family I received quite a few guns. I'm not very savvy on guns so I thought I would ask you guys. Sako a7 300 short mag/Nikon scope savage 17hmr Remington 700 22-250/Nikon scope Windham AR-10 with a pulsar xq50 trail Beretta Silver pigeon 2 Mossberg camo wrapped turkey shotgun Ruger 10/22 Remington model 572 with a copper barrel Remington 35 lever action Taurus Judge Taurus m5 revolver Browning Hi power Bersa thunder sig saue 938 FNS fn9c Waltherp22 Iv owned one pistol, 870 pump shotgun, and a Remington 700 270 most of my life, so now I have a few more. My question is what is the good and bad on these guns. I'm left handed and would consider to sell a few if I could get a left handed rifle. Let me know your thoughts, thanks

A few of those aren't too difficult to give a very wide range of value on. Best bet would to take pictures of each one and post it up on here. Plenty of folks have some good ideas of value. You might also take some (after you figure out the value) to a local shop - NOT BassPro/Cabela's - and trade for a lefty.

Pay it forward - Kids are the future.
Rifles are similar to boats and young women...there's no end to how much money you can pour into them without making them any more useful.

My condolences on the passing of a family member.
My first suggestion is invest in a decent gun safe as that is a fairly long list of weapons.

A couple suggestions and how to ststematucally go through the list:
First try to select the ones you know for sure you can't part with, be it sentimental value or what not, and those aside. Seems obvious starting point. If at this point you're even considering selling, I'd suggest seeing which ones would have the best resale value vs original sales price. The market varies per model.
I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

Some good, some so-so.
The Beretta shotgun may be close enough to neutral cast to work LH. If not you can have the stock bent or just buy the LH version. The safety on the Ruger 10/22 can be swapped around making it LH.
Check gunbroker completed auctions to see what the pieces actually sell for. You can certainly sell this stuff and get some nice LH pieces. You can sell on gunbroker and ship long guns through the post office. Ship long guns in a cheap plastic case covered in cardboard.
Handguns are a hassle to ship. I'd keep the Browning HiPower.

Hi,
Apologies for your loss. I would be interested in seeing pics of the 700 22-250 and the a7 300.
Thanks, Ryan

Condolences on your loss. If it were my loss, I would keep the guns that meant the most to your loved one, and think of them every time I shot it. The sig 938 has an ambi safety. That would be a keeper...but if you do sell, I might be interested. Not all Browning hi power's have the ambi safety.

Anyone who does not own at least one ruger 10/22 should have one. I’d keep it and the 22 Walter pistol.
The AR10 with the pulsar trail is a big ticket item if you’re trying to generate cash to buy something else. It’s also one I would keep but each to their own.
The 35 lever is fairly sought after these days. Pleasant to shoot and smacks down anything at lever action ranges. They’re rather nostalgic to hunt with, easy to handle, and is still the choice of many walking through the woods.
The beretta silver pigeon II is a shotgun people lust after but will not buy. Take time to handle it, if it fits you keep it for a while to decide if you like it. It will not lose any value if you take care of it. You can always sell it later.
The 597 with the cooper barrel I have no idea about.
The rest are firearms that come and go or are not left hand friendly. I’d let them go unless you have an attraction to them. My two cents.

Just be careful if you take them to a gun shop, They will offer a few hundred less than they are worth because they need to make their profit on the re-sale.
If you just want an appraisal, they will probably charge you.
Not sure where Paradise is but I would shop for any guns, left handed, you really want and work a trade. Maybe at a gun show or your local gun shop. You will of course make the most money selling them. Its a PITA shipping them though.
