Never hunted there. I've been told you can get bumped if not military. Any feedback appreciated.

Use to hunt there A LOT when I was young with my dad. That was about 45 to 40 yrs ago. I remember you would put your card in the basket and they would rotate the hopper and pull the cards and call the numbers. If you got chosen to hunt you would hunt in the morning and afternoon. Some places where better than others and the trucks were hard on the backs. We also took our bows in case our number was not called. They would give you an area to hunt and you could bow hunt there. But this was a LONG time ago.

Conact the sportsmans center for info, lots of detailed rules/procedures for this place, its military so there you have it but there is good hunting there.

What do you mean you can get bumped?

I hope a civilian hunter can get bumped, I’d hate to think an ID card and scars would get you nothing extra on a Military Installation of all places.

I agree. You would think with the amount of civilian hunters, they would let the servicemembers hunt free and give them precedence still.
