Anybody ever buy an upper and have it shoot as good as the original complete rifle? I'm thinking about a higher end .224 Valkyrie upper for my Seekins. 20-22" barrell, long hand-guard, Threaded for suppressor

I bought a PRI upper in 6.8 SPC and it's the most accurate AR I own. It has a Douglas match barrel. I've moved it to different lowers and it always shoots the same.

I'm not sure what super accurate means quantitatively but I think the setup I have in 6.5g is very accurate. Same shooter and handloader, I'm getting better results from it at 300yds than my tikka 223 in the small sample sets for each in about the same number of rounds (but I do think I'll get better 223 results by switching to rl15 or varget just like the 6.5g). I've been very impressed with the results so far now that I'm a couple hundred rounds in.
My rifle was a home build but it's based around an Odin Works bcg, barrel and gas accessories kit combo. They definitively build whole rifles and uppers only. Their blanks are from McGowen.
But why 224 Valkyrie? Seems like such a gimicky round to me. Mostly in the sense that it looks good on paper yet I've yet to meet a single person who's had excellent results with any 224. Known at least 3 who have been really frustrtated they can get it to shoot as well as their precision 556 rifles, 1 of whom for hand load. He says a factory federal gave him the best results but couldn't find a great hand load for. But he's no expert, barely more experienced in reloading than me, which still make him a beginner too.
I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

http://www.6mmar.com/Page_1.htmlWhitley AR Everything I've heard is they are the most accurate AR, period. Not an AR guru so I could be wrong but the accurate shooter guys sure are big fans.

An accurate upper should be accurate no matter the lower or am I missing something? Obviously there are better triggers than others but that doesn't make the upper less accurate
