Did anyone get drawn on the archery hunt ? Got notified but then Tpwd said permits withdrawn just wondering if they let anyone hunt at all.

Seems like if they gave you a permit then retracted it, that they would provide an explanation as to why.

They said computer malfunction too many drawn. Just wonder if they redrew and let somebody hunt or if they just canceled the hunt.

That archery hunt is scheduled for Jan. 1st-Jan. 4th, and I believe it will go on as scheduled. The computer glitch as explained to me by the Program Director was that it hung up and started drawing groups of hunters, before the system vendor caught it. I believe they just went with the first 4 permits drawn, and withdrew the rest.
I had that tag last year and had a really good time. It is a tough unit to hunt tho.
