I have a fresh canvas on my Honda Pioneer. Before I begin to drill holes or any other modifications, I would like to get an idea of what is truly necessary vs. creature comforts.
I know I'll be adding some LED flood's on the back & likely a good LED bar on the front. I already have the winch en route. It will be stowed in the back for use with hitch receivers as opposed to permanently mounted on the front. The UTV has a panel on the dash which currently has warning stickers on it. It is the prime location for a switch panel. How many switches are required for your various add-ons?

I have a 2014 700-4. It has a 2.5" lift, Sedona wheels and tires, full tilt windshield, Fox Podium shocks (2014 OEM were crap), led light bar in front, led light in rear, under dash led lighting, cup holders front and back, the large front bumper with my gun rack on it to help keep dust down vs over head gun rack that I also have. I also have a Supewinch 4500 on front, full roof, bed mat ( helps quiet it down), front floor mat and brush guards for CV protection. I replaced the stock headlight bulbs with some Phillips aftermarket, major improvement. I have the 3 light switches where the warning sticker was and the winch switch is by the stock head light switch. One accessory I really like is the multi compartment storage bag that hooks to the roll bar over the front seats. Keeps lots of things handy as there is not much storage space on these machines.

tag. I'm in the same boat as you. As I'm reading around I'm seeing that especially with a gear driven Honda, running a 2nd battery for accessories is a good idea because low voltage may create a problem with the computer controlled shifting. I'm looking to keep it simple and just go with LED lights and a winch as well.

I forgot to list that I also have a snorkel and extended the fuel tank, transmission and radiator vent lines above seat top level. You never know when you want to play "U Boat" commander
