Which has more does?I have doe tags for both places. It will be a 4 hour drive for me and maybe my only chance to make it out this year. I do not expect to be successful but would at least like tot pick the place with the best chance to get lucky.

Well I can tell you that a SHNF doe tag is a highly coveted thing. There are also far more access roads and much much more area to choose from. If I had my pick it would be the SHNF. Though I might be a bit biased since I've been hunting it all of my life

I did not know that about the SHNF doe tag. My son got one as well. I will make a effort to get him there as well. If I am able to get him.

Did not see anything. Well maybe a squirrel. Spent the night in the car and tried again in the morning. It dawned on me that I must have been in a really bad place because I did not even see other hunters. Will try again on the 3rd and the 4th of the new year. Will take my boy just incase and maybe my daughter for squirrel hunting.

I can't remember the last time I went to Alabama Creek and didn't see at least one doe. I usually go in on 509 from 357 follow it till it turns into 541 and find a good spot to park. I go North East and hunt along Lancaster Creek. I have pretty much hunted one end of it to the other. Never had a doe tag so I never got to take one there, but I always saw em. I swear they were laughin at me! lol
