Anyone loaded these bullets. Supposed to be great long range killers. After my failed experience with the high dollar Cutting Edge, I' scared to try these Hammers

I have still never loaded any ammo, but I've used the "Hog Hammers" in 223 and worked well on pigs. Not long range though, longest shot was probably 125 yrds. They penetrated and expanded pretty well.

You might also contact Maker Bullets, I tried them in 6.5 Grendel and they were VERY lethal

Lots of info on them on the LRH forum. I emailed them about twist rate and stability and heard back from them promptly. I think I'm gonna try the 155gr out in my 7RUM

Use Barnes TTSX's, aim for the shoulder, and good results will follow with minimal meat loss.

Buzzsaw. I have some of the 177 hammers .284. They tune easy. I loaded up 5 at .5 grains apart. Found a flat spot and loaded in the middle. Load held to 600 yards without BC adjustment. Beyond that the bc needed an adjustment.

Let me know if you want to swap for a few 177s.

That's way too difficult for Buzz, he's proven multiple times if it doesn't shoot the load given to him then they are crap bullets and not worth buying. Besides, who's got time to tune a rifle hammer
