I plan on making a seafood pot with crab legs, lobster tails, shrimp, potatoes, corn etc. for Christmas. I am looking to add a spice for this wonderful stuff of goodness. What spice would you recommend?

Please note, I am NOT looking for a hot spicy mix. I want something flavorful but no heat.

Zatarans liquid, but use it lightly, it is a little spicy but imparts a very good flavor. They also have dry seasoning that’s good. Put some lemon and onion in too. And don’t forget salt.

I never use salt in gumbo, soup or stews. I use bullion.

Halved onions, garlic pods with some halved lemons adds some great flavor.
