I've been watching bucks fight for about 10 days now. Multiple 8 point bucks at the feeder. The doe's don't look as nervous as they did a few days ago. I'm in Junction by the way.

Till the last doe is bred.(if doe fawns are not big enough to heat cycle) Bucks will compete more for the last few does than when the rut starts.

Thanks. This is the first time I've got to watch the feeder for most of the season...retired and loving it. Mostly watching not shooting. Just trying to understand what I'm seeing.

TPWD says the rut peeks 12/24/18. Basically starts 2 weeks earlier and ends 2 weeks later.
