Are the pictures slower to load while using the high pixel cameras?

When loading them to my computer it takes a little time if there are a lot of photos on the card. I shoot mainly in JPEG and not RAW images though. I downsize the file size to load on here also, so it takes about 10-15 seconds per photo on Hughes Net to load on here. The photos I put on here are about 90%-95% of smaller than the originals.

I called him mature, either a 5 yr old or 7 yr old. He looked more like a 7 yr old though to me.

They are not really that big bodied. Very rare for a deer to get over 190 lbs dressed.

scratch 190 dressed is what 230-240 live? Seems pretty huge for a texas deer to me lol. Our biggest so far has been 185 live.

I use 16% to 18% off the live weight for dressed weight but never weighed any that were not gutted. But I was there when one weighed in at 208 field dress of that ranch back in 2000 or 2001. Several over 200 have been killed also thru the years. Many were 185# or more field dressed each year. Bit more rare now but weights are climbing back up a bit. This is one that dressed 175# and was a 4 yr old this year.

Have you ever been approached to sell your Pictures to publications? You really know how to use that camera.

STX, what made the 175#, 4.5yo, 5x5 a shooter? Seems like he would be one that they would want to watch another couple of years. I will say, however, judging from your pictures that he may have been on the low end of the 4.5 yo's in terms of spread and mass. Just curious from a management standpoint.

He did not fit the minimum score as a 4 yr old to keep on this ranch. 1 and 2 yr olds have a point count minimum and look to stay. 3 yr old and older have a B&C minimum and point count to stay. This ranch views it like this...when you have larger or better scoring bucks in the age class then you take out the bottom part of the age class. He was in the bottom part of his age class.
