Had a couple of neighbors tell me that they had things stolen from their property such as timers out of their feeders and other small items. Well one neighbor found a new 2" X 6" about 2' long with Danny's stand written on top of it under his and our other neighbors fence about halfway down inside their property neither have a clue how it got there? I went to fill my feeder last week and noticed I had a wire in my panel bent way back, no animal hair on it and no vehicle tracks near it, showed the pic to Captain Jack and he said it looks like a bullet did that. So yesterday I looked around the old unused oilfield road and sure enough there are people tracks It is hard to imagine that a person is willing to risk their life or jail time just to shoot a deer!

That was definitely done by a bullet. Had a friend shoot at a hog outside one of my feed pens. His bullet hit the hog panel and did exactly what yours looks like.

Time to place some well camo'd camera's out to see who it is!
Thursday at 12:45 PM #33 Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

Time to place some well camo'd camera's out to see who it is! X's 2, has to be some one in the area, or with local knowledge, maybe neighboring hunters. Sounds like someone needs to locat "Danny" and give him back his sign, with force...

I had this conversation with a couple of our lease members and land owner last night. Looks like we are encountering the same issue. Would you mind sending me the Game Warden's contact number in a pm? We are in NW Jack County.

I'm confused, found a 2"X6" what? Piece of conventional lumber is how I took it, same as people refer to a "2x4", in this case (I assume) its a "2x6" giving stubbs a bit more swing leverage when he is able to return it

I hate to hear that Stub. Unfortunately we have seen an increase in theft around here lately. Things like batteries stolen out of tractors, trailers stolen, etc. I'm sure you have it handled, but if you need anything let me know, and if I can help you guys I will. I have lived here for 45 years, so if you get a pic, I bet I can identify them if they are locals. Also, I have some tall trees and a good rope....

There is a good group of landowners and lease hunters like me in the area that have known each other for a long time, none of us can remember it being this bad around there?
