I'm a huge fan of this rechargeable LED spotlight. Can't believe how little it weighs and at first, thought it was junk, but it's amazing!!! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074P4ST39/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I take my wife hunting now, so it's been well over a decades since I went on trips with buddies. I would get them what I thought they needed based on a hunting trip that we would go on, such as good socks, or gloves, or a face mask for turkey or duck hunting. Hand heaters, and heated socks where also good gifts. Nikon binoculars are pretty decent and I've given them as gifts, as well as a really nice knife if the one they had wouldn't hold an edge for very long, but then I switched to scalpels and extra blades for caping heads, and I gave away quite a few of those too.
