Pretty dang slow but I made the best of it. Two pairs came in, doubled on both, all drakes. Can’t wait for these fronts to hit next week

Sweet strap. Duck hunting seems to be more about watching the sunrise, testing gear, and getting into the rhythm until mid December. The crotch leak in my waders finally became too much this morning.
Thought for the day: Ducks were almost hunted to extinction long before camo was invented.

Nice job and great pictures. Love that dog and boat.
Did OK yesterday against some adversity in the form of other hunters and people campers, but we ended up with seven, all dabblers.
This season has been better for me than any in my short time hunting. Yesterday was the slowest day of the season and it would’ve been an easy two man limit if not for some things out of our control. I’m hoping it gets better, though!
I just turned it on . I was looking bird dogs in the butt this morning.

Adult late onset hunter. Why did I wait so long to get started?

Sweet strap. Duck hunting seems to be more about watching the sunrise, testing gear, and getting into the rhythm until mid December. The crotch leak in my waders finally became too much this morning. Was that leak on the inside or outside of your waders? (don’t worry, I’ve struggled with both on hunts). Great pics btw
